Illayathalabathy Vijay plays an energetic role in this film , in this film he has been portrayed as a guy with dreams of becoming a cop , some how he completes his plus two and finds a seat in a college to study , and also finds a part time job of driving an auto rickshaw !!!! After this everything becomes predictable , this film has all the varieties of a commercial blockbuster . After joining the college he falls in love with anushka , And he comes across a baddie Ravishankar who tries to play spoilsport in the life of his classmate Sanchitha Padukone ,Ravi bashes him up. His troubles start as ravi's father Salim Ghouse with the help of greedy police hatches a conspiracy to kill him in a special encounter. It is now a cat and mouse game between the two. And it leads to a predictable climax.
vettaikaran seems to have different flavours from different movie , and the highlight is its fast moving screenplay !!!!
Vijay is energetic thorughout the film !!!!! Punches are tolerable !!!! Anushka plays an normal heroine role !!!!Vijay Antony has done extremely well to make the songs hit , and sun pictures is an added advantage to the movie !!!! On the whole the movie satisfies all the vijay fans and it'll be one of his hits !!!!
